There is always something to do in Saint-Omer: the Kayak Polo World Championship!

Saint-Omer hosts the Kayak Polo World Championship from August 16 to 21 with an opening ceremony on August 14 that promises to be grandiose! 68 teams present for a competition that promises to be Dantesque. Whether you are a competition lover or a family supporter of Les Bleus, come and discover a sport unknown to the general public.

All matches will be free of charge, pool matches will start on 16 until 19 August, the finals will be on 20 and 21 August.

The Aa basin, a real aquatic arena will host the entire competition: the 21 different nations present will compete for the title of world champion. No less than 571 athletes will compete in teams of 5 players (including goalkeepers) where the two teams of France will try to do better than their 4th place at the last games in Canada.

Then see you on Saturday, August 14 from 20:00 Place Foch in Saint-Omer for the opening ceremony and all next week for the competition and entertainment!
