Instituted as part of the Climate and Resilience Act, the realization of a regulatory energy audit is gradually becoming mandatory for the sale of housing classified D, E, F and G in single-ownership. In addition to the DPE, the regulatory audit aims to allow buyers of these energy-intensive homes to benefit from the presentation of work scenarios to improve their energy and environmental performance. As such, it contributes to national objectives for reducing the energy consumption of the housing stock.
